Description
Judges Shack Jersey Shore - The Judge's Shack at Island Beach State Park (IBSP) at the New Jersey shore.
This original fishing shack is believed to have been built around 1911. The shack was purchased by Judge Richard Hartshorne of Newark and East Orange, NJ in 1942.
Shortly after acquiring the shack he had the interior remodeled and used it as a family weekend retreat.
The Judges's Shack has withstood the test of time and weathered many storms.
This image was captured shortly after an afternoon thunderstorm passed by and the sun broke out just in time to set into the western skies.
The setting suns spectacular colors are displayed in the lingering clouds.
Available in color as well as in a black and white print.
